The emission nebula IC 1805, also known as the Heart Nebula because of its distinctive shape, is located about 7,500 light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia. This nebula was sculpted by the stellar winds and ultraviolet radiation of the young, giant, superheated stars contained in the Melotte 15 star cluster at its center.
